The Department of Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology was established to provide future-oriented, cutting-edge biotechnology-specific education and research by benchmarking with world-class foreign universities. We have world-class research strength in the core areas of biotechnology: stem cells, protein drug development, animal cloning, bio-organ, genome analysis, bioinformatics, cell reprogramming, cell-based drug discovery, disease control, and model animal production for human disease treatment. In addition, consistent with our reputation, we have received excellent ratings for on faculty research, student achievement, educational conditions, and reputation every year in the campus academic unit assessment.In addition, the university has recently been awarded the Brain Korea 21 Project, a project to train high-quality human resources for the knowledge-based society of the 21st century, and the Metropolitan University Specialization Support Project.
