The College of Architecture aims to cultivate competent human resources who can lead the 21C architectural culture with convergent thinking and discernment.
Unlike other universities where the Department of Architecture and the Department of Architectural Engineering are separate, we integrate the two departments to provide opportunities for a comprehensive architectural education. Each major track operates a differentiated curriculum that strengthens competencies and strives to cultivate architectural professionals who combine liberal arts and sociological aptitudes, artistic creativity, and engineering skills.
The College of Architecture was established in 1970 as the Department of Architectural Engineering in the College of Engineering and has produced more than 6,000 graduates in its 50-year history. Today, it has excellent faculty and facilities in an independent college of architecture building with Korea's only specialized graduate school of architecture.
