In order to cultivate professional musicians through knowledge of practical skills and theory, the Department of Music aims to develop inquiry skills for music through systematic curriculum and various forms of perforamance and presentation experiences, and foster talents and leadership of music performers and educators. The Department operates a specialized curriculum as well as special lectures, seminars and master classes on various themes to develop musical talents, characteristics and potential in a wide range of professions including performers, educators and music planners after graduation. Moreover, the Department supports overseas music camp participation and scholarship for students. Based on the academic ability, the Department will work on cultivating future-oriented, creative and professional musicians who can contribute to local and national development.
