Mission & Purpose
- To provide opportunities for diverse cultural experiences and to nurture the global talents of KU students who will become the center of the world.
- To cultivate a pioneering spirit and a sense of challenge and to foster the ability to actively respond to the changing international environment.
- To instill pride in KU and foster leadership.
- This program has been running since 1997 to promote globalization and internationalization talents.
Schedule and Highlights
- Application and selection during the 1st semester, followed by the trip during the summer vacation
- The program lasts approximately 2 weeks, which may be shortened or extended depending on the region and the program topic.
- Major themes are determined annually to reflect global trends and social issues, and regions and countries are selected accordingly.
- Visit major developed countries in North America, Europe, and Oceania.
- Students will be assigned with 3 to 4 advisors, including local experts, to ensure student safety.
The program is subject to change based on local conditions.
This program is not designed for students to explore the area individually but to explore the area in a group with a guide (faculty or staff).
