Overview
The Konkuk Language Institute (KLI) was founded in 1990 with the mission of fostering future leaders of the international community. The Institute has been developing and improving various kinds of educational programs in English, Chinese, French, Japanese, Spanish, and Vietnamese. In 1998, the Korean Language Program was introduced. Through ongoing research, the program has approximately 50 Korean teachers and 800 students at present.
Regular Courses
Regular courses at the KLI are divided into six levels. Students take a placement test, and are assigned to different levels based on their Korean proficiency. The courses, which aim to enhance the students’ Korean skills in various situations, also focuses on learning the language through cultural activities.
Short-term Courses
Short-term courses offered by the KLI allows international students to learn the Korean language intensively and experience Korean culture during the summer and winter. Through the courses, students can deepen their understanding of Korean culture while exploring their interest in the Korean language.
