The Department of Physical Education aims to cultivate virtuous and capable middle and high school physical education teachers. We also aim to cultivate professionals with competent qualities who can work in various physical education professions, such as exercise health specialists, physical education instructors, and sports scientists. Based on the university's philosophy of, sincerity, fidelity, and righteousness, our students will be developed into righteous physical educators through regular curriculum, student association and club activities, and career-related programs.
First, through a systematic undergraduate education program, we effectively educate students to become excellent and professional physical educators. Through the 4-year undergraduate program, students will learn the latest sport science theories and reflective sport coaching methods and become well-rounded professionals with a combination of theory and practice.
Second, student organizations, led by the Student Association actively work to make campus life more meaningful and fulfilling. Students learn lifelong sports through various sports clubs, develop friendships among seniors, juniors, and friends, and participate in hobby and language study clubs for self-development and to strengthen team spirit.
Third, the systematic implementation of the teacher employment examination program has led to an increase in the number of successful students entering the teaching profession each year. In addition, through the career education program, students can expand their career options by identifying the current status of the sport profession and improving their professional knowledge. We also offer graduate programs to develop professional skills through master's and doctoral degrees, including the General Graduate School and the Graduate School of Education.

Educational Goals
The department promotes students' leadership skills in the theory and practice of physical education to produce qualified professionals with the necessary expertise for informationization and globalization. Through this, we can train competent middle and high school physical education teachers and professional researchers in physical education and promote the development of new knowledge to adapt to social changes caused by the professionalization of physical education.
